Our design process consists of getting initial information from you via our Information Forms. From this and your stated goals for the site, we build several layout ‘looks’. With your constant input we refine designs until we get a layout that is perfect for you. We then build the site on our development server. You have access to our server and provide us with feedback. Once the shell is complete we add content (provided by you) to the site and work with you on the layout of this content.
The completion of your website can progress rapidly once you decide upon your design layout. You provide us with your website content such as text, images, additional graphics, video and downloadable pdf or word files. Getting content to us in a timely fashion helps to speed your website along to completion.
During website construction, we check all links, make sure email and contact forms work, test the website in IE7, IE8, Firefox 3.0+ and Safari, add meta keywords, put in image alt tags and create descriptive page titles to assist search engine rankings. We also give you basic advice on marketing strategies for website exposure, index your site with Google and can set up a Google Analytics account for you to track your site statistics if you desire. When content is in place and you are happy with how your website looks, we upload it to your hosting service.
Equine Online Design also does website redesign, website maintenance, can modify any website templates you already have in mind, engage as part of a team on project development, design complete content management systems, install and configure WordPress blogs, provide tutoring in html, blogging, WordPress software, and basic computer use as well as work with your own graphic artist or marketing person to put together a website.
